Ceramic cord is made of high-purity aluminosilicate ceramic fiber. Depending on the design, the cord can be reinforced with fiberglass or heat-resistant wire, which provides high mechanical strength, flexibility and durability during operation in high temperature conditions.
Ceramic cord is used for:
- Sealing of doors of industrial furnaces, boilers, drying chambers and thermal equipment.
- Sealing of joints, hatches and technological openings of high-temperature installations.
- Thermal insulation of pipelines, chimneys and gas ducts.
- Compensation of thermal deformations in furnaces and other heat engineering equipment.
- Insulation of flange and threaded connections.
- Sealing of ladle covers, melting units and other metallurgical equipment.
- Protection of cables, hoses and other elements operating near sources of high temperature.
- Use in energy, metallurgy, glass, ceramic and chemical industries.
